We would rather ship a small app somebody uses every day than a large one they open twice. Scope is the first thing we cut and the last thing we add to.
No streaky guilt-trips, no manufactured urgency, no dark patterns at the paywall. If an app has to nag to keep you, it was not worth keeping.
Where we can build something with no accounts and no servers, we do. Unwander collects nothing at all — what you write lives on your phone and in your own iCloud.
S7A Lab is a small independent studio based in India, building for iPhone.
We are interested in the category of problem that technology created and then never quite fixed — attention, noise, the small daily frictions that everyone has learned to tolerate. The apps we build are deliberately modest: a handful of screens, opened briefly, designed to be got out of quickly.
