Unwander

Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

Unwander collects no personal data. There is no account, no login, no server, and no analytics. Nothing you enter in the app is transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to go.

What the app stores, and where

Unwander keeps four kinds of information, all of it on your iPhone:

This information is stored on your device and synchronised to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so that it survives a new phone or a reinstall. It is held in your personal iCloud storage. We have no access to it and no way to read it.

What we never ask for

No analytics and no tracking

The app contains no analytics software, no crash-reporting service, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of you. Nothing about how you use the app is reported to us.

Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated sales and download figures for the App Store listing, in the same way it does for every app. These contain no information about individual people and we cannot connect them to anyone.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by the app on your own device. They are not sent from a server and we do not know whether one was delivered, seen, or answered. If you tap Yes or No on a reminder, nothing is recorded anywhere — not on your device and not with us.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, your billing address, or your Apple Account. Apple tells us only whether a subscription is active. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Unwander is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. As there is no collection of any kind, there is nothing for a parent to request access to or deletion of from us.

Your data, and deleting it

Because everything lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you are already in control of it. Deleting the app removes the local copy. To remove the synchronised copy as well, use Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on your iPhone. We hold no copy to delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If we ever began collecting anything — which would require adding a server or an analytics service — we would say so here plainly and update the app's privacy information on the App Store at the same time.
